NATIONAL TRIBUTE

Sports Inc. created the National Tribute™ concept in 2019. The premise of the format honours a public figure regarded as being emblematic of New Zealand’s cultural heritage or identity. They are inspirational, they make us proud to be Kiwis.

The inaugural recipient of National Tribute™ was legendary All Black rugby player and mental health advocate, Sir John Kirwan. Seven-hundred guests attended the occasion with the event televised live on Sky Sport.

In 2022 it was iconic All Black captain Sir Wayne Shelford who was honoured. Sir Buck is a revered leader and has led the charge campaigning for men's health for many years. National Tribute was seen live on Sky Sport and replayed on free-to-air on Prime TV.

INTERNATIONAL GOLF CONTENT

Sports Inc. travels the globe producing some of the world’s most compelling content.

We interview the greatest players, showcase outstanding golf destinations, and attend the world’s leading tournaments.

Our golf clients include tourism boards, resort owners, course architects and designers, and leading media organisations.

The Sports Inc. golf catalogue provides an invaluable media resource for our clients and media partners.

NZ RURAL GAMES

Sports Inc. crew travel to Palmerston North each March to produce the television coverage of the Ford Ranger NZ Rural Games. The popular event has now been running since 2013 and Sports Inc. has been proud to have been involved with each edition.

The three-day celebration of 'sports that built the nation' attracts over 30,000 spectators to the Palmerston North Square located in the heart of the city. Rural athletes include champion woodchoppers, sheep shearers, arborists, and sheepdog trialists.

Sports Inc. produces a one-hour highlights show of the event. It screens on free-to-air network DISCOVERY.

SPARK SPORT

Sports Inc. has been producing quality sports content for several years and since 2019 our team has been assisting the Spark Sport streaming platform with its promotional content.

Spark Sport has the rights to several high-profile sports properties including Champions League Football, Formula 1, NBA, NFL, World Rally Championship, and the US Open tennis championship. Spark Sport is also the 'home' of New Zealand Cricket with the BlackCaps, White Ferns and Super Smash all appearing on the platform.

Sports Inc. is passionate about sport and we've enjoying adding our flare to Spark Sport.

LARGER THAN LIFE

The Muhammad Ali Centre opened in Louisville, Kentucky in November 2005. Attending the opening celebrations were some of the world's great personalities including former President Bill Clinton, actors Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jim Carrey and heavyweight boxing champions Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. And amongst the thousands that travelled to Ali's home city was eight-year-old Auckland boy Mitchell Clay Butler.

Larger than Life tells the story of Mitchell's pilgrimage to Louisville, the people he met and the places he saw. The likes of President Clinton, Jim Carrey and Evander Holyfield tell us why they think Ali is the greatest and we're there with Mitchell as he takes centre stage at the opening ceremony in front of 4,000 world leaders, dignitaries and Ali fans and delivers the speech that made New Zealand proud.

MISSION HILLS RESORT - THE MATCH

China’s Mission Hills Resort is the world’s largest golf complex with twelve golf courses at the Shenzhen property.

To celebrate the opening of the new Justin Rose-Ian Poulter layout, Mission Hills staged a match-play event between the two golf superstars.

Sports Inc. was commissioned to manage the production and distribution of the event.

SportsWoman NZ

New Zealand's elite female athletes achieve remarkable results on the world stage each year. Unfortunately, many of these achievements don't often receive the recognition they deserve across mainstream media.

Sports Inc.'s solution was to create the SportsWomanNZ People's Choice Awards. The 'awards' are hosted on both the SportsWomanNZ Facebook and Instagram pages. The public can vote in four categories: Young SportsWoman, Para-athlete, Team, and SportsWoman of the Year.

Since 2019 SportsWomanNZ has celebrated the exceptional performances of Kiwi athletes.
